How it works
Upload your video
Choose a clip or drop it on the preview. Use an MP4, MOV or WebM your browser can play, vertical or horizontal. Nothing is uploaded to a server; the effect is drawn on your device with WebGL.
Pick the ghost and the look
Set how the ghost moves (Wander, Peek, Fly-by or Steer), how many appear, their size and color, then add a Halloween, Haunted, Blood moon, Night vision or VHS grade and an optional ghost trail.
Export and post
Unlock Pro to export. Your clip plays once while recording, including supported original audio. Save an MP4 or WebM, depending on your browser. Keep this tab visible until it finishes.
Make the ghost look like it belongs
- Shoot on a tripod or prop your phone. A still frame makes the ghost read as the only thing moving.
- Turn the lights down. A pale ghost glows more against shadows than against a bright wall.
- Match the size to the distance. Around 8 to 10% for a far doorway, 15 to 20% when it is close to the lens.
- Lower the opacity to 50–70% for a faint, half-seen ghost, and keep Candle flicker on.
- Steer it by hand to make it pass behind a person or out through a door. Choose Steer, preview the motion, then use Pro to export and drag on the preview while it records.

Do I need Premiere Pro or After Effects?
No. Everything happens in the browser. If you already edit in another app, export here first and import the MP4 into your project.
Can I control exactly where the ghost goes?
Yes. Choose the Steer motion and drag on the preview. In other motions, dragging takes over the first ghost until you let go.
Is Ghost Filter free?
Creating and previewing are free. Every export requires Pro, priced at $9.99 USD once, with no subscription. Purchases will open after checkout is available.
Are my videos uploaded?
No. Your browser draws and records the effects on your device. We do not receive your source or exported videos.
Which formats can I use?
Choose a video your browser can play, such as MP4, MOV or WebM. The export format is MP4 or WebM depending on browser recording support, up to 1280 pixels on the long edge. Preview your own clip first.
How do exports and purchase recovery work?
Export records your clip in real time; keep this tab visible. Save your private recovery code when buying Pro so you can restore the purchase in another browser. Refunds revoke access.
